RustavOil, a leading player in the oil and energy sector, needed a modern, automated reporting solution to replace their legacy Excel-based reports. The objective was clear: build a real-time, interactive reporting system that would be reliable, scalable, and tightly integrated with their existing ERP infrastructure.

Prior to our collaboration, RustavOil's reporting process was heavily reliant on manual operations using Excel files, which were time-consuming, error-prone, and lacked flexibility for business decision-makers. They needed a robust BI system that would:

Integrate with SAP Business One
Fetch and update official currency exchange rates from the National Bank of Georgia
Deliver frequent data refreshes
Provide user-friendly dashboards with the ability to filter and pivot data by currency, period, VAT inclusion, and more

Since deployment, RustavOil has fully transitioned to Power BI-based reporting , eliminating the need for Excel files. Reports are now real-time, reliable, and automated — with minimal need for manual intervention. The switch significantly improved visibility, decision-making speed, and reporting accuracy across departments.
